Thematic report on ePortfolio research was created using: (1) the data from Europortfolio portal, and (2) research insights of Europortfolio members that go beyond the Portal. The main goal of this report is to give an overview of current work in the area of research reported by the Europortfolio community and beyond with an insight in to where it needs further development.
September 24. 2015 the Nordic chapter of Europortfolio will give the first introduction in Denmark to Open Badges.
The February 5th 2015 Cand.Cur. Kirsten Nielsen defended her PHD titled “Learning of nursing skills in clinical education mediated by ePortfolio " at the University of Southern Denmark.
The PhD project is a qualitative empirical study of how and to what extent an e-portfolio promotes learning of clinical nursing skills. Data is generated by field studies on clinical placements at the Hospital Unit West and in Holstebro. The informants are eleven nursing students in Module 4 by Nursing Training Center in Holstebro, Denmark.
