"The University Computing Centre (SRCE) has a long tradition in the area of information and communication technologies. It was founded in 1971 within the University of Zagreb, the only Croatian university at the time, with the purpose to enhance the implementation of information technologies in the academic community as well as in Croatia in general.

“Bruno Ciari” Studies Center is an association of municipalities of the territory of Empoli and of the Valdelsa Fiorentina (Castelfiorentino, Cerreto Guidi, Certaldo, Empoli, Gambassi Terme, Montaione, Montespertoli, Vinci), formally established in 1992, which works with aims of research, testing, training, updating, in pedagogic context.

ASEV Agenzia per lo Sviluppo Empolese Valdelsa Spa has been created in 2002 by 26 founders (municipalities of the local District, social partners)  with a mixed public private capital.
